Giacomo — Canale Monterano

We are trying to find news about Giacomo, born at the end of the 1700s and living in the first half of the 1800s in Canale Monterano, in the province of Rome. Most likely Giacomo was not born in Canale Monterano, but in that town he had at least two children with his wife Geltrude Silviarelli: Bernardina, born in 1838, and Filippo, born in 1846. Filippo in turn had many children in Canale Monterano with his wife Emilia Bucchi, and died there in 1902.

At present we do not know Giacomo's parents, nor where he was born, so we cannot place him in the family tree. Giacomo's brother was perhaps Lorenzo, also living in Canale Monterano, married to Antonia and father of Agostina, born in 1831.

Hector — Argentina

Hector may be a descendant of Tobia and Marianna Festa, who emigrated at the end of the 1800s from Naples to Buenos Aires. Hector was very well known for the quality of his sandwiches, which his company sold on the beach of the Rio de la Plata. In 1982 Hector's children patented the composition of the sandwiches, whose name, chosen by Hector himself, was “El gran Monarca”. Hector's parents are not known and are being researched.

Gaetano — Bevagna

Gaetano was born in Castelfidardo (Ancona) on 23 May 1845, son of Francesco and Teresa Renzi, and died in Bevagna (10 km from Foligno, in Umbria) in 1914. His brothers were Giuseppe and Aurelio. Gaetano's father was certainly not from Castelfidardo, but we do not know with certainty where he or his own father originated. Indeed, at present we do not know with certainty who Gaetano's grandfather was.

The most probable hypothesis is that Gaetano was a nephew of Luigi. In that case Gaetano would belong to the Offagna branch. Luigi was born in Offagna in 1778, son of Antonio and Rosa Gaggiotti. Gaetano's position is significant, as he is the certain ancestor of the family's Bevagna branch and of much of the Umbrian one.
